One-day Workshop for Foreign Students 2014.02.15.

We’ve changed the date and the venue due to the heavy snow.

This special workshop offers a chance for foreign students of The University of Tokyo to experience i.school. The goal of the workshop is to create innovative services based on collective intelligence. Innovative ideas are created by analogical thinking based on existing services such as amazon.com.

Participation: Limited to foreign (not Japanese) students of The University of Tokyo. Selection process may be applied should number of applications exceed the capacity. Free of charge.

  • Hideyuki HORII

    Executive Director of i.school. Professor of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. As the Executive Director, he launched i.school in 2009 and has been successfully leading its multidisciplinary programs. He also heads Center for Knowledge Structuring, The University of Tokyo. He is the author of the books “Socio-technology for problem solving”, “Socio-technology for safety and security” among others.
